Scratch & Dent

Scratch and dent is a term in the retail industry that refers to slightly damaged products that have small dings or dents which resulted from shipping or warehouse damage.

Damage that is classified as scratch and dent is almost always cosmetic in nature meaning the appliances or other products have full functionality. The dents or scratches are generally on the surface and affect only the appearance of the appliance.

Since the item is damaged the retailer marks down the price. Buying scratch and dent items is a great way to save money. It is also an excellent way to buy a high-quality product at a lower price.

  • Sourcing

Because of our warehousing capabilities & licensed team, we are able to purchase directly from major manufacturers & retailers. The appliances are shipped directly from them to us. No middleman! We buy in bulk to offer the best prices possible.

  • Quality Control

Most of our appliances are fully functional when we receive them. However, they are considered scratch and dent so we still perform a quality check with our own licensed & certified technicians. So can we guarantee 100% functionality on all of our appliances.

  • Condition

Our appliances are mostly new but considered scratch and dent due to minor shipping and handling damage by the manufacturer/retailer. Some appliances may be returns from customers within a 30-day return period. These units will go through the same vigorous testing procedures by us, as well as a thorough cleaning.

Our truck loads come in exactly as pictured! Usually 50-60 units at a time, hand loaded to fill the truck.

When the truck gets to our warehouse, we carefully unload everything, run it through our testing station, wipe-down, photograph everything and line it up in our warehouse.
